Sweet almond oil is pressed from the fatty seeds of the almond tree. It’s loaded with essential fatty acids, vitamin E, retinoids, and anti-oxidants. Sweet almond oil can be used as both a moisturizer and as an emollient making it an awesome oil to improve skin barrier function. This makes it a good oil to help with dry skin and also dry skin problems like eczema. For acne, it’s used in the cleansing process whereby it dissolves oil and dirt that clogs the skin and ends up causing pimples and acne.
